New VP of Alternative for NBC & Universal Media Studios

UNIVERSAL CITY: The new VP of alternative programming and development at NBC and Universal Media Studios is Brandon Riegg, who was previously executive director of alternative series and specials at ABC.

Riegg is responsible for overseeing current alternative shows as well as new development, from pitch to launch. He will report to Meredith Ahr, the senior VP of alternative programming and development at NBC and Universal Media Studios.

At ABC, Riegg oversaw all facets of development, production and on-air current programming for series such as Dancing with the Stars, Wife Swap and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He also developed Wipeout, Shaq Vs. and I Survived a Japanese Game Show.
