New U.S. Season of Dancing with the Stars to Debut in Singapore

SINGAPORE: Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), ABC’s live weekly dance show, is to premiere on STAR World on November 19.

Based on the BBC’s smash hit Strictly Come Dancing, the series features professional ballroom and Latin American dancers paired with celebrities. The couples compete in a live ballroom dancing competition each week until they are eliminated. Season 13 celebrities include David Arquette, Carson Kressley, Chaz Bono, Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and Elisabetta Canalis, among others. The judges are Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli—international renowned dancers and well-known choreographers. In 2010, the format earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s most successful reality television format.
