TORONTO: DHX Media is touting a range of new preschool shows in its MIPCOM slate, led by the CBeebies commission Rastamouse.

DHX will also be bringing completed episodes of new CGI series Pirates, An Adventure in Art, which was first presented at MIPTV; season three of CBeebies’ Grandpa in My Pocket; new episodes of Animal Mechanicals, and dirtgirlworld. The company also has live-action, older-skewing titles on offer, with the second seasons of drama How to Be Indie and sketch show That’s So Weird.

Josh Scherba, senior VP of distribution at DHX Media, said: “Preschool is a crowded demographic for new product but we have two standout new shows that we believe offer something different. We also have brand new seasons of our live action shows available. The market for shows with an established track record is really strong at the moment so we’re looking forward to showcasing these new episodes.”
