New Leadership at The Fremantle Corporation

TORONTO, April 4:
Licensing and distribution veteran Irv Holender has taken the helm of The
Fremantle Corporation as director and principal.

Holender’s career includes
high-level stints in licensing for Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount and WB’s Looney
Tunes
, in addition to his work
executive producing more than 600 hours of programming. A founding member of
NATPE and the American Film Marketing Association (AFMA), Holender was among
the first to engage Japan in U.S. co-productions of animated programming, and
is also a pioneer in PPV concert events from Caesar’s Palace.

Holender will be attending
next week’s MIPTV on behalf of The Fremantle Corporation, leading a team of six
and introducing a new slate of programming. Among the projects being showcased
are the animated series Anash and the Legacy of Sunrock, Bikini Beach, the most recent Jackie Mason comedy special, and Wrestling Titans, an arena sports package.
