New HD Latin American Content for MTVNHD

BUENOS AIRES, September
18: MTV Networks International’s (MTVNI) latest MTV Live concert was taped in high definition from Buenos
Aires, and is set to air on MTV Networks High Definition (MTVNHD), which rolled
out across Europe earlier this week.

The MTV Live series is part of the more than 300 hours of
customized programming that has been commissioned for MTVNHD. MTV Latin America
is set to produce several hundred hours of content for the new high-definition
channel, which is currently available in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Norway,
Poland and Sweden. The service will extend to Argentina, Brazil, Chile,
Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, the U.K., Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany and
France by the end of the year.

“We’re incredibly excited
to have our Buenos Aires creative hub contribute to MTVNHD’s programming slate
with this production,” commented José Tillán, the senior VP of creative,
content and music for MTV/Vh1 Latin America. “The launch of MTVNHD allows us to
showcase our Latin American creative team by producing high-quality, innovative
content that resonates with our viewers and crosses borders culturally. We look
forward to many more productions to further increment MTVNHD’s international
library.”
