New European Management Structure at WBITD

BURBANK, August 31: Warner Bros. International Television
Distribution (WBITD) is establishing a new structure for its European
management team, with Robert Blair and Jose “Pepe” Abad splitting oversight of
the sales team, and Mickie Steinmann relocating to Canada.

Blair, who has managed WBITD’s Canadian sales efforts for
the past eight years, most recently as VP and GM of Canadian operations, is now
SVP for Northern Europe. Relocating to London from Toronto, Blair will oversee
the sales team for the U.K., Germany, Scandinavia, Benelux, Central and Eastern
Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Abad, a 10-year WBITD veteran who serves as senior VP and MD
for Southern Europe, will add France to his current mandate of Spain, Italy,
Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.

Blair and Abad will report to Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, the
president of WBITD. Joining Blair and Abad in the senior European management
team is Alex Ogilvie as SVP of business development and operations. He will
report to Ronald Miele, the EVP of business affairs, operations and general
counsel.

Filling Blair’s role in Canada will be Mickie Steinmann,
previously VP of sales, overseeing Scandinavia, Benelux, Israel and the Middle
East. He will now serve as VP and
GM of Canadian operations, based in Toronto, reporting to Malcolm Dudley-Smith,
EVP of sales and business development.

Nicky Wood, who previously handled the Czech Republic and Hungary
as sales director for Eastern Europe, is being promoted to VP and will add
Scandinavia to the list of countries for which she is responsible: Russia,
Ukraine, Poland and South Africa. She will report to Blair.

Joanna Murchie, sales director for Central and Eastern
Europe, will now, in addition to her current territory responsibilities, serve
as WBITD’s point person for the Czech Republic and Hungary, reporting to Wood.

The implementation of this new structure follows the
promotion and relocation of Simon Kenny, who had previously served as executive
VP and MD for Europe and is now president of Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.
Christoper Law, who currently serves as MD for the U.K. at WBITD, has been
promoted to SVP and MD, adding U.K. digital distribution to his
responsibilities.
