New President Named for Telepictures Productions

BURBANK, August 31: Hilary Estey McLoughlin has been named
president of Telepictures Productions, where she succeeds Jim Paratore, who
last week announced plans to set up a full-service television production
company, paraMedia inc.

During her tenure at Telepictures Productions, McLoughlin
has developed and produced some of the biggest hits in first-run syndication,
including The Rosie O’Donnell Show and The
Ellen DeGeneres Show
. She will report
directly to Bruce Rosenblum, the president of Warner Bros. Television Group.

McLoughlin joined Lorimar-Telepictures as director of development
in 1989 and has been with the company ever since, most recently as EVP and GM.
