New Dramas for ABC Family

BURBANK: Two one-hour dramas have been given ten-episode orders by ABC Family: Huge and Pretty Little Liars. 

Huge, based on Sasha Paley’s book of the same name, follows six teens and the staff at a weight-loss camp, as they look below the surface and discover their true selves. The show is being developed by Winnie Holzman (Wicked) and daughter Savannah Dooley. Pretty Little Liars follows four estranged best friends who reunite one year after their best friend, and the queen bee group leader, goes missing. They discover that each is receiving messages from an anonymous "A" who knows all their secrets. Warner Horizon and Alloy Entertainment are producing. Both shows are scheduled for 2010 premieres.
