New Deals for The Magic Roundabout

PARIS,
December 4: Mediatoon has inked several new deals for The Magic Roundabout with broadcasters in Italy, Finland and the
Middle East, among others.

Italia
1 in Italy, Norway's TV2, YLE in Finland, TRT in Turkey, EESTI in Estonia and
Al Jazeera in the Middle East have all taken on the preschool series. Meanwhile,
Mediaway in Poland, Hungary's Europa Records and CLMC in Portugal picked up the
video rights. In these countries the series is aired on Minimax (Hungary), RTP
(Portugal) and MiniMini (Poland).

Co-producers Films Action, Action Synthèse, Play Productions,
Ellipsanime, with the participation of M6 and Disney, have started the
production of a second season of The
Magic Roundabout for a further 52 episodes to bring the total to 104. The
second season has already been picked up by ABC Australia, and is slated for
delivery by mid 2010.
