New CEO at TV3 Estonia

STOCKHOLM: Priit Leito has been appointed CEO of TV3, TV6, 3+, Power Hit Radio and Star FM in Estonia, taking up the role on September 28.

Leito replaces Kaspars Ozolins, the CEO of free-TV Baltics within Modern Times Group, who has been acting CEO of free-TV and radio in Estonia for the last few months. For the last four years Leito has served as CEO and chairman of the executive board of the Ekspress Group. Prior to this he was the CEO of the daily newspaper Sonumileht in Estonia, and was responsible for the merger of Sonumileht and Ohtuleht. He was the CEO of the enlarged company for five years.

Ozolins commented: "Priit is bringing with him an extensive background in the media business in Estonia and the Baltics. He has an impeccable track record and I’m very grateful to have recruited him to take our free-TV channels and radio stations in Estonia to the next level."
