New British Distribution Partners for TNA Wrestling

NASHVILLE, July 1: TNA
Wrestling has secured an extended pay-TV agreement with Virgin Media
Television’s Bravo channel, along with a new deal to supply a raft of its
wrestling programming to BT Vision’s recently launched VOD service, effective
through December 2009.

TNA’s agreement with Bravo
will see its flagship program TNA iMPACT air in the U.K. on Saturday nights, just 48 hours after its initial
telecast on Spike TV in the U.S. Bravo also picked up the first-run pay-TV
rights to TNA’s monthly pay-per-view events, which will continue to air on
Bravo2 on Wednesday nights.

BT Vision snapped up the
U.K. VOD rights to the weekly magazine program TNA Xplosion, along with TNA’s pay-per-view events, which will
be available on a 14-day delay after the premiere transmission on Bravo.
Viewers can access these programs on a subscription or a la carte basis.

Dixie Carter, the
president of TNA Wrestling, commented, “TNA is delighted to have reached
agreement with two of the world’s largest media companies. TNA programming on
Bravo gives our brand a strong presence in the U.K. and good accessibility to
viewers on pay TV. Our relationship with BT Vision will provide wrestling fans
an alternative media to watch our programming, as well as the first launch of TNA
Xplosion
in the U.K.”
