Netflix Adds Miramax to List of Content Providers for U.K. Service

BEVERLY HILLS/SANTA MONICA: Miramax is the latest studio to agree to provide Netflix with films for streaming on its soon-to-launch service in the U.K. and Ireland.

Starting in early 2012, Miramax films will be available to watch instantly on Netflix in the U.K. and Ireland. The deal brings titles such as The Aviator, Chocolat, Finding Neverland, Gangs of New York and The Hours to the streaming service. Also included are the films Bad Santa, Sling Blade, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Rounders and many others. Miramax titles are already available on Netflix in the U.S. and Latin America.
