NBCU Ups Exec in New-Media Licensing Team

UNIVERSAL CITY, March 10:
Justin Che has been promoted to senior VP of international new-media licensing
for NBC Universal International Television Distribution.

In his new role, Che will
help oversee all new-media licensing for NBC Universal’s product outside of the
U.S and Canada, focusing on the Asian region, including Australia. He most
recently served as the VP of international new-media licensing.

Additionally, Sandra Chang
has been elevated to VP of international new-media licensing, up from the
director. Like Che, Chang will help support the division’s efforts, focusing
primarily on France, Spain and Latin America. She joined the company in 2004 as
the manager of international business development.

Both executives are based
in Los Angeles and report to Beth Minehart, the executive VP of international
new-media licensing for NBC Universal International Television Distribution.

“Since joining our team
three years ago, Justin’s contributions have been key to the growth of our
new-media business,” said Minehart. “Both he and Sandra have been exceptional
at addressing the evolving new media landscape with a strategic sensibility for
developing new business models. These are well-deserved promotions.”
