NBCU Promotes Exec for USA Network, Sleuth & Universal HD

NEW YORK: Ryan Sharkey has been upped to senior VP of program acquisitions and administration for USA Network, Sleuth and Universal HD, promoted from serving in the VP role.

Sharkey continues to oversee program acquisitions, including series and theatrical films. He also manages the program inventory for all three networks, along with serving as the head coordinator/buyer for select NBCU cable properties and occasional broadcast network film on a deal-by-deal basis. Sharkey is based in New York, reporting to Jane Blaney, the executive VP of programming, acquisitions and scheduling.
