NBC Lines Up New Prime-Time Grid

UNIVERSAL
CITY, December 4: NBC has unveiled its post-January mid-season schedule, which
features the new drama Kings and the
return of Medium and Chuck, among others.

Immediately
following Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, NBC will broadcast an original
hour-long episode of The Office.
Beginning February 2, Monday nights will feature new episodes of Chuck at 8 p.m., followed by Heroes at 9 p.m. and Medium at 10 p.m. Life kicks off its new season on February 4 at 9 p.m.

The Celebrity Apprentice returns on March 1 in a new two-hour
format. Kings will feature a special
two-hour premiere on March 19 at 9 p.m., before settling into its regular
Thursday, 10 p.m. time slot on March 26.

The original movie
event XIII, starring Val Kilmer and
Stephen Dorff, will air on February 8 and 15 at 9 p.m. Premieres for additional
mid-season shows, such as The Untitled
Amy Poehler Project
and The
Philanthropist
, will be announced at a later date.

Silverman, the co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios,
commented: "February and March are going to be exciting months on NBC and
the Super Bowl is just the beginning. The biggest event on television will
provide the perfect promotional platform as we launch some of the most eagerly
anticipated new and returning shows on any schedule."
