NATPE Rebrands LATV Fest as PitchCon

LOS ANGELES: NATPE will host its first ever PitchCon this June in Los Angeles, featuring a lineup of TV and digital content producers, development executives, agents, advertising and brand executives.

Taking place June 9 and 10, PitchCon, formerly known as LATV Fest, will be held at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. “PitchCon is a true top-tier marketplace of ideas, the premier gathering of creative producers and industry insiders,” said Rick Feldman, NATPE’s president and CEO. “Smart, strategic insights can only benefit producers and make content across all platforms better and more creative. This event is an extraordinary chance to gain access and become part of innovating new multiplatform content.”

The schedule includes advance pitch prep sessions; master classes on production budgets and scheduling, legal issues, producing web video, short-form entertainment and multiplatform writing; a how-to session on spec scripts for writers; and the Pitch Pit, allowing attendees to secure time with reps form CAA and APA Talent and Literary Agency, BET Networks, Hasbro Studios, Lakeshore Entertainment, Lionsgate Entertainment, My Damn Channel and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment (WME2), among many others.
