Nat Geo Adventure Gets Travel Website

WASHINGTON, D.C.: National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) has unveiled natgeoadventure.tv, a global web destination dedicated to the Nat Geo Adventure channel.

Launching around the world this year, the site looks to inspire budding filmmakers, presenters, editors and explorers to showcase their work using the new online community. The website offers users a chance to share travel ideas, tips, videos, photos and experiences, as well as offering a chance to promote their work to a wide online audience.

Commenting on the launch of natgeoadventure.tv globally, Dario D’Aprile, the director of online global publishing at NGCI, said: “National Geographic is always on the lookout for exciting new filmmakers, photographers, journalists and presenters to work on new projects, which is why we have launched natgeoadventure.tv—to offer aspiring talent the chance to show us what they can do and communicate why we should work with them.”

D’Aprile continued: “Natgeoadventure.tv will be an online space for users to showcase the best of their adventures, gain interesting feedback and make contact with others as they plan new trips. We are very excited about offering everyday adventurers from around the world the opportunity to interact with one another and share experiences online.”
