YOYO TV Launches BabyTV Block

TAIPEI, December 14: Taiwanese children’s network YOYO TV
has secured a two-year agreement with BabyTV to roll out a commercial-free
programming block aimed at preschoolers, YOYO BabyTV, beginning Monday, December 17.

YOYO BabyTV will
broadcast as a half-hour block from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
every weekday for the next two years. With content provided by BabyTV, the
block will introduce more than 30 series for preschool-aged kids throughout the
two-year agreement. The programs on YOYO BabyTV will air without commercial interruptions, and will
center on the theme of communication between parents and children. Furthermore,
the content aims to create a friendly and happy environment to help children
learn and develop.

Joanne Tsai, the VP of Fox International Channels Asia and
general manager of Taiwan, commented, "BabyTV is a channel that Fox
International Channels provides specially for babies and preschool kids all over
the world. Launched in Europe in 2005, it was successfully promoted in a very
short time, and is now telecast on many major TV platforms in the world. We are
more than happy to work in alliance with YOYO TV to show more daily programs on
YOYO BabyTV in Taiwan. This is a TV
channel for parents to have the fun, parent-child interaction and feel more
assured as their kids are watching shows on a safe and educational channel that
contributes to the positive development of a child."
