LOS ANGELES: Athletes Bruce Luizzi and Denise Sanchez have been named the first VPs of MUSL TV (Muscle, Ultra-Sports and Lifestyle), which formed earlier this year.

Luizzi, a former University of Southern California football star, will serve as VP of corporate development and sales. Prior to signing on to MUSL TV, Luizzi was VP of national accounts for Valassis Communications, where he was in charge of specialty retail accounts, including RadioShack, Bridgestone/Firestone and McDonald’s.

Sanchez, a competitive bodybuilder and owner of personal training business Fitness One-On-One, joins MUSL TV as VP of events and network programming.

Jacob Arback, the CEO of MUSL TV, said: “Bringing together Bruce, a heralded USC and Canadian Football League player, and Denise, a champion, world class bodybuilder, gives us an inside track on the elite training competitive sports worlds. They each bring along lifelong passions for training and fitness, as well as years of industry experience, and will be key players as we develop and launch the network.”

Arback continued: “Bruce and Denise will also be responsible for building relationships with federations and governing bodies, along with their compelling events, athletes, coaches and families, which will help our distribution partners tap a new universe of passionate ‘doers and viewers.’”
