MTVNI Restructures VBS Europe

LONDON, January 22: MTV Networks International has announced
a new leadership structure and focus for its London-based sales and client
service unit Viacom Brand Solutions (VBS) Europe.

The announcement was made today by VBS Europe’s recently
appointed executive VP, Melisa Quiñoy.

VBS Europe has added Nickelodeon and digital media to its
existing music and entertainment brand capabilities. Sales representatives have
also been placed in key European territories, as well as dedicated experts
serving the Japanese and Korean markets to facilitate relationships with
clients who trade with VBS across Europe.

Quiñoy announced several new roles within her business
units, led by VPs Tony Robinson, Antonio Canto and Michael Garreffa. Robinson’s
team, which currently manages London-based client relationships, will now
expand to include digital media and Nickelodeon sales responsibilities. Canto,
who joins from MTVNI’s Asia-Pacific unit in Singapore, will be based in London
to manage pan-European accounts from elsewhere in Europe and Asia. Garreffa
will continue to lead VBS Europe’s film and entertainment business partnerships.

Two recent multiplatform partnerships secured by VBS Europe
include HP’s Meet Or Delete, the first
MTV Networks series to premiere to a global audience and rollout on every
platform; and GM’s MTV Under The Radar viral campaign which culminated in the auto giant’s sponsorship of the
MTV Europe Music Awards 2006.
