MTV Latin America Event to Reach 270-Million-Plus Homes Worldwide

MIAMI, October 15: MTV Latin America’s sixth annual music
event, Los Premios MTV Latin America 2007, airing on Thursday, October 18, will
reach more than 270 million households in Latin America, Europe and the U.S.

In Latin America, Los Premios will reach more than 67
million households via pay TV on MTV Latin America and broadcast television via
syndication and MTV Brazil. In addition, the event will be available for public
viewing when it is beamed across thirteen giant public screens throughout
Mexico City. Select broadcast networks that will re-air the event include
Televisa in Mexico, City TV in Colombia, Ecuavisa in Ecuador, Canal 12 in El
Salvador and TVN in Panama.

In the U.S., Los Premios will reach more than 98 million
households and 2 million radio listeners. The event will air live on MTV Tr3s,
followed by pre-show, show and post-show highlights featured on 32 MTV Tr3s
radio stations the next morning. In addition, MTV2 will air the show in
November.

In Europe, the Los Premios event will reach more than 104
million households and will be carried
on MTV European networks, as well as on local MTV channels in Europe such as
MTV Baltics, MTV Denmark, MTV Finland, MTV France, MTV Italy, MTV Netherlands,
MTV Poland, MTV Portugal, MTV Romania, MTV Russia, MTV Spain, and MTV Turkey.

Los Premios MTV Latin America brings together a variety of
regional and local Latin American pop and rock artists, as well as international
acts to reflect the music and attitude of youth in Latin America today. Held at
the Palacio de los Deportes, this year’s event will be hosted by Diego Luna,
and will feature performers such as The Cure, Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Café
Tacvba, Juanes, Belinda, 30 Seconds to Mars, Babasónicos, Kudai, Molotov,
División Minúscula and Jesse & Joy. The list of presenters includes Luisana Lopilato, Dalma Maradona, Julieta
Venegas, RBD, Paulina
Rubio, Panda, Belanova, Airbag, Beto Cuevas, Luis Roberto Guzmán and Wilmer
Valderrama.

Brands such as Coca-Cola, DHL, Movistar, Converse, Modelo
Light, Diageo and Yahoo! will serve as official sponsors of Los Premios MTV
Latin America 2007.

José Tillán, the senior VP of creative, content and music
for MTV/VH1 Latin America, will serve as executive producer of Los Premios MTV
Latin America 2007. Audrey Morrissey, a veteran of many MTV productions and
award shows, and producer of Alejandro Sanz MTV Unplugged, La Ley MTV Unplugged and four previous Los Premios MTV, will produce the
show.
