TORONTO: ABC TV in Australia is the latest broadcaster to come on board for the first season of Shaftesbury Sales Company’s new tween comedy Connor Undercover, while Daro has picked up the rights for Central and Eastern Europe and English-speaking Africa.

“We are delighted that ABC TV Australia jumped on board with Connor Undercover," said Shane Kinnear, the VP of sales, marketing and digital media at Shaftesbury Films. "We are proud to be working with Daro, who are bringing this fun-filled and action-packed series to audiences in Central and Eastern Europe.”

The half-hour action-comedy series focuses on teen Connor Heath, a spy buff whose ordinary life is rocked when the first daughter of a small island nation shows up to live with his family. The show is produced by Shaftesbury Films and Heroic Film Company for Family Channel. It is one of Shaftesbury’s highlighted titles for MIPCOM.
