More Everything’s Rosie in the Works

DOHA/LONDON: VSI Entertainment and Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) are co-producing a second season of the HD CGI animated preschool series Everything’s Rosie.

The first season is slated to launch on CBeebies this spring and the Arabic version will debut on JCC’s preschool service Baraem TV later this year. The second installment has already been picked up by CBeebies.

“When we first saw Rosie, we immediately realized the potential success of this animated series,” said Malika Alouane, the director of channels’ programming at Al Jazeera Children’s Channel and Baraem TV. “Rosie’s amazing personality and individuality make her a loveable character and a great role model for young girls. Along with the engaging story lines, our young audience will also enjoy the high quality of the CGI animation that brings Rosie and her friends to life. We enjoyed working with the team at VSI and helped them fine-tuning the content to better meet and understand our viewers’ cultural needs; we hope our little ones will love it.”

The head of Cbeebies, Kay Benbow, added: “Rosie’s arrival on CBeebies is eagerly anticipated. We have worked closely with the team at VSI and are absolutely delighted with this beautiful series. We’re sure that our viewers will engage with the warm and charming characters in Everything’s Rosie.”
