More Dave’s One Night Stand in the Works

LONDON: The UKTV male-skewing channel Dave has re-commissioned the hit stand-up show Dave’s One Night Stand for a second season of five hour-long episodes.

The show watches as top comedians head back to their home towns for a special one-off performance. The second season will feature Chris Addison, Dave Gorman, Mark Watson, Greg Davies and Jason Byrne getting back to their comedy roots. Each headline comedian will handpick two other acts to perform alongside them.

The first season of Dave’s One Night Stand was the highest-rated commission of 2010 for the channel, increasing ratings for the average slot by 15.5 percent and pulling in 4.7 million viewers.
