More Charlie and Lola for Disney

BURBANK, October 16: Disney Channel in the U.S. has ordered
a third season of the preschool series Charlie and Lola for its Playhouse Disney programming block.

Nancy Kanter, the SVP of original programming at Disney
Channel, noted, "The series does a wonderful job of showcasing
preschool-age life lessons through the special bond siblings have. We are
delighted that Charlie and Lola's tender and humorous relationship will
continue to warm the hearts of our young viewers and their parents and
caregivers."

Based on the award-winning children's book series by Lauren
Child, Charlie and Lola is produced by
Tiger Aspect and distributed by BBC Worldwide. Currently in its second season, Charlie
and Lola
airs weekdays at 10:00 a.m. and
weekends at 11:30 a.m.
