MONACO: The 50th Monte-Carlo Television Festival will feature a two-day conference, TV Xchanges, which focuses on funding and co-production issues.

On June 9 and 10, TV Xchanges will feature a lineup of high-profile producers from Europe and the U.S., as well as execs from production companies, networks programming departments, financial organizations, governmental and regional institutions. The program kicks off with a round table discussion titled "New business models for TV drama production," featuring, among others, Tele Munchen Group’s Herbert Kloiber, Justin Bodle of Power and Jane Millichip of RDF. The session will be followed by a keynote with NCIS executive producer Chas Floyd Johnson. Day one caps off with a round table called "Fiction funding: New schemes, new funds and others. Where can the money come from?"

The second day features a round table, titled "Co-production: A concept of the Old World?", will include Philipp Kreuzer of Bavaria and Philippe Jacot of EBU, among others.

David Tomatis, the CEO of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, said: “We are delighted to welcome so many of the world’s top television executives to join us in Monaco during our 50th Anniversary. The TV Xchanges are a valuable addition to our international event and have developed into the perfect networking environment for high-quality meetings. This year, for the first time, we are also able to offer a bespoke networking tool to organize delegates meetings prior to their arrival.”
