mio TV Adds to Lineup

SINGAPORE: SingTel’s IPTV platform mio TV has expanded its channel lineup with Travel Channel, the all-rugby Setanta Sports and the Indian news network TIMES Now.

“We actively seek to provide a well-rounded selection of channels and programs to enrich our customers’ viewing," said Goh Seow Eng, the head of the Digital Home at SingTel. "The addition of these three quality channels is testament to this. We are especially pleased to introduce our first dedicated travel and rugby channels as our customers have indicated that they are passionate about these genres.”

Travel Channel offers up content on luxury getaways, eco-friendly holidays and backpacking adventures, with a slate that includes Trabant Trek, Planet Sports and Distant Shores. Setanta Sports is will deliver rugby action from across the globe. And TIMES Now is an English-language Indian news network that is making its Southeast Asian debut with its carriage on mio TV.
