Military Channel Spotlights Tank Battles

SILVER SPRING: The Breakthrough Entertainment-produced series Greatest Tank Battles has been scheduled on Military Channel for a January 5 debut, kicking off the first of ten one-hour episodes at 10 p.m.

The show uses ultra-realistic CGI animation to recount the step-by-step maneuvers used in combats from the last century. Each episode shows viewers the gritty realism and gives them the experience of tanks from a new perspective. This is paired together with first-hand accounts from the eyes of soldiers who manned the guns and guided the monster machines.

"While each episode of Greatest Tank Battles captivates viewers by reliving those pivotal moments of warfare on the battlefield where each decision is do or die, the heart of this series is hearing the first person accounts from the real soldiers—and heroes—who lived through it all," said Henry Schleiff, the president and general manager of Military Channel.
