MGM HD Names New Executives

LOS ANGELES, July 8: MGM HD has staffed up after sealing
carriage agreements with Time Warner Cable, Comcast and DISH Network, naming
several executives in its programming, promotions, affiliate relations and
advertising departments.

Gracelyn Brown joins MGM HD as the VP of programming. In her
new role, Brown is responsible for all programming and scheduling. Brown
previously served as the director of programming for KTLA, where she was
responsible for re-tooling the station’s schedule and managing programming
initiatives.

Bernard Nguyen-Sovan has been named as the manager of
programming for MGM HD. He will assist in the creation of special events,
stunts and themed specials for the channel. Nguyen-Sovan comes to MGM HD from
World Champion Sports Network in Los Angeles, where he served as the traffic
manager.

Doug Chalfant will serve as the executive creative director.
In his new role, Chalfant will be responsible for building the MGM HD brand on-air.
He also will oversee the creation of integrated marketing campaigns for the
channel’s advertising partners. Chalfant previously served as the director of
creative marketing solutions for Reelz Channel.

Mark Zelenz has been named as the executive director of
affiliate sales. Zelenz will oversee the distribution of MGM HD to cable,
satellite and telco affiliates on the East Coast. He comes to MGM HD from his
consulting company, where he represented clients such as The Horror Channel,
Elite Entertainment and Renegade Productions.

Nicole Mulholland joins MGM HD as the account executive of
advertiser sales. Mulholland previously worked as an account manager of
advertising sales for Yahoo.

Douglas A. Lee, the executive VP of worldwide digital media
