MGM Exec Appointed to New Role

LOS ANGELES: MGM has made former senior executive VP of finance Steve Hendry the senior executive VP of television operations.

Hendry, who has been part of MGM’s finance division for more than 13 years, will oversee the fiscal operations and business planning for the MGM Television Group and Digital. He will be responsible for financial operations, forecasting, planning and analysis for the division’s production and distribution businesses, and its broadcast ventures and partnerships.

“Steve’s keen insight into MGM and the entertainment industry are tremendous strategic assets for MGM Television and Digital,” said Roma Khanna, MGM’s president of the television group and digital. “His wealth of knowledge and financial experience make him the perfect candidate to help us continue to grow our TV and digital business.”
