Megafilms.net Signs International Deals for Ribbit’s Riddles

PARIS, July 14:
Megafilms.net has closed a range of deals for its preschool stop-motion series Ribbit’s
Riddles, including agreements in
Germany, Japan and Scandinavia.

MICO picked up the free-TV
and home-video rights for NHK in Japan, while NDR took on the free-TV rights
for ARD’s Sunday morning programming in Germany. Deals were also closed with
SVT in Sweden and TFO in Canada. Digital terrestrial television (DTT) and
cable/satellite rights were snapped up by YLE in Finland, NRK in Norway and RAI
Sat in Italy.

The first season of 52
three-minute episodes of Ribbit’s Riddles is currently airing on TiJi in France and was also broadcast on Canal+
Saturday morning programming. Picture books are available for publishing in
countries airing the series, and Megafilms.net will launch a licensing and
merchandising program at Brand Licensing Europe in October.
