KUALA LUMPUR: Mediahub is launching Mediahub Market, a new B2B exhibition designed for international media leaders to be held in conjunction with the Asia Media Summit on May 29 and 30, 2012 in Bangkok.

Registration for Mediahub Market 2012 began on November 1. The market will feature 54 exhibitor stands at Sofitel Centara Grand Hotel. It will bring a commercial dimension to the Asia Media Summit (AMS) and will be the first event of its kind dedicated to business networking with decision makers from the Asia-Pacific media industry.

"The last G20 has reminded us that, more than ever, the influence of emerging countries is growing,” said Dimitri Mendjisky, the general manager of Mediahub. “It is thus essential to give these emerging markets a rightful place in the global economy. The Mediahub Market has been created at the request of those countries, in need of a special exhibition to meet the international media leaders in a privileged way. The emerging producers and broadcasters are indeed looking for content and commercial opportunities as well as expertise and technological solutions. The Mediahub Market has been designed and developed for them. "

“Mediahub Market is the ideal place to reach the emerging markets,” Mathieu Bejot, the executive director of TV France International (TVFI), added. “In addition, it offers an opportunity to interact effectively with the decision makers from Asian broadcasters, with whom we have rarely or never had the occasion to meet. It’s a great chance to increase market shares in a rapidly developing media economy. TVFI will be attending Mediahub Market. We are enthusiastically looking forward to it.”
