MasterChef Collectible Cookbooks in the Works

SYDNEY: Bauer Media is working with Shine Australia and Network Ten to publish the MasterChef Collectibles series of cookbooks.

The three-part collectible cookbook set will feature recipes from past and present MasterChef contestants. The books will be published to coincide with the upcoming fifth season of MasterChef on Network Ten.

Beverley McGarvey, Network Ten’s chief programming officer, said: "MasterChef Australia is synonymous with creating some of the most talked about, and most sought after, dishes in Australia. The MasterChef Collectibles cookbook series is the perfect kitchen accompaniment to enable foodies and fans alike to bring quintessential MasterChef dishes to life."

Margie Bashfield, MasterChef Australia executive producer, added: “MasterChef has changed the way we cook, eat and talk about food in the home, in schools and in fact all over Australia. We are excited that the MasterChef dishes our viewers fall in love with on screen will make their way into their homes. Ever since Adriano Zumbo’s Croquembouche in series one, viewers have aspired to extend their cooking skills in the home, and this new cookbook series enables them to do so.”

Gerry Reynolds, publishing director of Bauer Media, said: “Bauer Media is thrilled to be taking to market a whole new concept for MasterChef publishing. These three books encompass the very DNA of the series and are designed to be collectibles that the whole family can embrace. We are very proud to be evolving the MasterChef publishing offering with Shine Australia and Network Ten.”
