Marvel Television Staffs Up Animation Team

NEW YORK: In an expansion of its animation division, Marvel Television has added Tracy McAndrew, formerly of Disney Channels Worldwide, and Eric Radomski to its team, while also promoting Cort Lane.

Radomski has been named senior VP of production and creative director for animation. He will oversee all aspects of Marvel’s animation. Radomski has worked on the comic-based titles Batman the Animated Series and Spawn. He is a three-time Emmy Award winner.

As VP of programming and distribution strategy, McAndrew will be responsible for developing and executive global distribution objectives and strategies for Marvel’s animated content. McAndrew will oversee marketing, program planning and will also manage Marvel’s relationships with broadcasters, distribution partners and key licensees. McAndrew recently served as director of acquisitions and co-productions in the worldwide programming strategy group at Disney Channels Worldwide.

Lane has been promoted to VP of development and production at Marvel Animation. In this new role, Lane will oversee the development on all animated series and direct-to-video movies. He was most recently the director of development for Marvel, where he worked on co-productions of Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Black Panther and Marvel Anime, as well as supervising The Super Hero Squad Show.

Each will report to Jeph Loeb, the executive VP and head of Marvel Television.
