TORONTO: In an effort to support ongoing expansion into prime-time development, marblemedia has expanded its team with two newly created roles.

Roberto Alcantara becomes the VP of prime-time scripted development. Alcantara is a former development exec at Momentum Entertainment Group. He reports to co-CEO and executive producer Matt Hornburg and will be working out of Los Angeles.

“The addition of Alcantara is a true testament of marblemedia’s growth and investment in the prime-time genre,” said Hornburg. “Alcantara’s strong relationships with both reputable writers and emerging talent, as well as the trust he holds with many of our U.S. partners, will prove to be a tremendous asset in shaping our scripted slate.”

Miklos Perlus becomes VP of kids and family. He will continue to focus on the development of marblemedia's kids and family slate as the company continues its expansion for both domestic series and international co-productions.
