MacLellan Upped to New Role at Comcast

LOS ANGELES, January 30: Kevin
MacLellan, E! Networks' senior VP of international, has been upped to the newly
created role of president of Comcast Entertainment Group, International, a new
division created to oversee Comcast’s international entertainment properties.

MacLellan’s new role
encompasses the linear television networks E! Entertainment Television, Style
Network, Versus (formerly OLN) and G4, as well as new media businesses,
licensing and merchandising, and home video and DVD distribution outside the
U.S. MacLellan will report to Ted Harbert, the president of the Comcast
Entertainment Group.

E! Networks International in 2001, Kevin has revitalized and grown the
international business of E! and Style, making the international group one of
the most exciting, dynamic and rapidly expanding divisions within the
company."

said MacLellan. "I am very proud of the work that my team and I have done
to build and extend the E! and Style brands globally over the past several
years, launching new channels, significantly increasing the international

Comcast’s new media businesses including online, mobile, and VOD."

Prior to E!, MacLellan served
as VP of international television networks at Columbia Tristar International
Television (CTIT) in London, responsible for handling the company’s channel
investments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, negotiating carriage
agreements and partnerships, as well as overseeing strategic and business
development. Prior to CTIT, MacLellan was director of programming for Home Box
Office (International) in New York and in Eastern Europe. Additionally, he
worked in production at a number of leading cable networks in the U.S.,
including HBO, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon.
