StarHub Digital Cable to Launch Five New Channels

SINGAPORE, January 30: StarHub Digital Cable will launch
five new channels on February 1, including FX, taking the platform’s number of
offerings to a total of 102.

StarHub’s “Family Plus” tier customers will be able to
access the new channels FX and CNN Headline News. The “Family Plus” package is
now home to 21 networks. The customers of “Chinese Plus II” will receive three
additional channels—the music offerings Channel [V] Mainland China and
Channel [V] Taiwan and the family entertainment broadcaster TTV World—for
a total of six networks.

“StarHub has consistently delivered a steady flow of new
content and services, and our cable TV customers can continue to expect the
best value proposition from us,” said Patrick Lim, the VP of cable TV services
at StarHub. “We hope that the new offerings will encourage our analogue
customers to take the step towards digital, so as to reap the attractive
benefits. With the inclusion of these five new channels to our already
comprehensive range of content, StarHub Digital Cable customers will be able to
fully indulge in their niche passions—be it current affairs, Mandopop,
extreme sports or Taiwanese-dialect opera.”
