Lost Available on iTunes in France, Germany

LONDON: New episodes of the highly anticipated sixth and final season of Lost, which debuted last night on ABC, will be available for download on iTunes in France and Germany each week with subtitles just after their U.S. premiere.

The first episode of the ABC Studios show’s final season is available on iTunes today, following last night’s U.S. premiere. Previous seasons are also available on iTunes, as well as the Lost in 8.15 feature. Each episode from season six will be available for a limited window of four weeks. Viewers in the U.K. will also be able to download new episodes from iTunes the morning after the show is broadcast on Sky1 HD.

Maria Kyriacou, the senior VP of new media distribution at The Walt Disney Company, EMEA, commented: “By providing viewers with access to our highly coveted content via the best possible legitimate services, Disney offers a far more appealing proposition than any illegal offerings. By working with iTunes, we are enabling fans in France and Germany to enjoy the final season of Lost as early and conveniently as possible.”
