SANTA MONICA: Lionsgate has firmed up a multimedia partnership with the beauty and lifestyle brand Booty Parlor, with an agreement that covers the development of original programming for TV, home video and digital platforms.

As part of the deal, Lionsgate has picked up the TV, DVD, digital and international distribution rights for The Official Booty Parlor Mojo Makeover: Four Weeks to a Sexier You. The property is the debut book by Book Parlor founder and lifestyle expert Dana Myers, which launches this week through a publishing deal with Harper Collins.

The first project in development is a reality series featuring Myers as an on-camera expert. The Booty Parlor brand was launched in 2005 with a mission to help women boost their "sexy self-confidence" and all of the company’s products are designed to inspire women to feel more attractive and desirable.

“Booty Parlor is developing compelling content about a key area of women’s lifestyles that has not yet been widely explored on television,” said Lionsgate Television Group’s president, Kevin Beggs. “Dana is a unique personality who communicates with women in a very smart and accessible way and we look forward to a great collaboration.”

Booty Parlor’s president, Charlie Myers, added, “Booty Parlor’s mission is to help improve the love lives and relationships of millions of women everywhere, so when it comes to developing and distributing first-rate content to help deliver our message in today’s global digital marketplace, there simply isn’t a better strategic partner than Lionsgate.”
