New Channel 5 Series Spotlights Ancient Rome

LONDON: Atlantic Productions, the team behind Secrets of Egypt, has another production in the works for Channel 5 with Rome Unwrapped, debuting February 1.

The series uncovers fresh takes on key events of ancient Rome. The show premieres on Channel 5 on February 1 with "Gladiators: Rome Unwrapped." On February 10 comes "Julius Caesar: Rome Unwrapped." The new program will continue to spotlight the most iconic names and places of ancient Roman history using CGI and expert opinion.

Rome Unwrapped was co-produced with National Geographic Channel in the U.S., National Geographic Channels International and FremantleMedia Enterprises, which handles distribution worldwide.
