Lionsgate Alum Marni Wieshofer Joins Thunderbird

Marni Wieshofer, who previously served as the CFO and executive VP of corporate development at Lionsgate Entertainment, has been tapped by Thunderbird Entertainment Group as an independent board member.

Wieshofer was also appointed as the lead director. At Lionsgate, she oversaw the company’s mergers, acquisitions and other strategic financial initiatives, including the acquisitions and integration of Trimark Pictures, Artisan Entertainment and Redbus Films Distribution U.K., to name a few, as well as the sale of Lionsgate Studios and the Canadian distribution business.
