Lion Television USA Names Director of Development

NEW YORK, February 15: Christy Spitzer, a former development
manager at MTV, has joined Lion Television USA as its director of development.

Based in New York and reporting
to Tony Tackaberry, the EVP of Lion TV USA, Spitzer will be charged with
revamping the company’s development department, opening up opportunities with
new networks and providing the company with expertise in new media.

At MTV, Spitzer worked on more
than 20 pilots in various genres from docusoaps and dating shows to scripted
and animation products. Her on-air series credits include Laguna Beach, Maui
Fever, Stankervision, and The
Shop.
