Lightworks to Highlight Broad DISCOP Lineup

NEW YORK, June 12:
Lightworks Program Distribution incorporating Sandra Carter Global is set to
introduce a range of new entertainment, biography and documentary programming
to buyers at this year’s DISCOP.

Among the entertainment
series offered at the market are Out There With Melissa DiMarco, a scripted dramedy starring actress/journalist
Melissa DiMarco as a determined entertainment journalist struggling to keep her
sanity as she and her team produce a weekly entertainment show. Other
entertainment fare on offer includes series like Hollywood Café, an insider’s look at what’s new on the big
screen, the latest box-office results, upcoming DVD releases and a sneak peek
into CaribeVision’s weekly movie presentation; the weekly program The
Hollywood Reporter; and The Red
Carpet Reporter, with celebrity
gossip, star fashion and Hollywood updates.

Other offerings include
the one-hour biography program C.S. Lewis: Beyond Narnia, which recounts the life of C.S. Lewis, the author
behind The Chronicles of Narnia book
series, and the one-hour documentary Florence Nightingale, looking at the life of the devoted nurse.
