Lifetime Preps New Dance Competition Series

LOS ANGELES, January 28:
Lifetime Television is set to launch its first ever dance competition series, Your
Mama Don't Dance
, next month, to
be hosted by Beverly Hills 90210’s
Ian Ziering.

The show teams young
professional dancers with one of their parents as they compete for $100,000 in
cash and prizes. It will feature three celebrity judges. Each week, the judges
will put the two teams with the lowest scores up for elimination, and viewers
can vote to save their favorite pair via phone, text and online votes on
myLifetime.com as monitored by the firm Telescope Inc. Executive produced by
live show veteran Bob Bain, the new weekly series, premiering February 29,
tapes in front of a live studio audience under the direction of Alan Carter (Dance
Wars
). The series concludes in a live finale show on April 18 where
the final three teams face off. After a live vote, the winning team will be
announced.

Your Mama Don't Dance is produced by City Lights Television in
association with Bob Bain Productions for Lifetime Television.
