Lang Upped at WBITD France

BURBANK/PARIS, March 9: Caroline Lang has been promoted to
the post of VP and managing director for France at Warner Bros. International
Television Distribution (WBITD).

Lang is a 16-year Warner Bros. Entertainment and Time Warner
veteran. In her new position, she will lead the studio’s television
distribution operations in France, managing WBITD’s sales executives and
overseeing the licensing of television series, theatrical motion pictures, TV
movies and animation to free and pay TV operators over terrestrial, cable,
satellite and IPTV platforms. She will also handle sales of these programs to
selected new media clients in the areas of VOD and SVOD, in coordination with
Warner Bros. Digital Distribution. She will report to Jose “Pepe” Abad, WBITD’s
senior VP and MD for Southern Europe, and to Iris Knobloch, the président-directeur
general at Warner Bros. France.

Lang succeeds the late Michel Lecourt—the former VP
and GM for French-speaking territories—alongside whom she worked for the
past 10 years. She was most recently deputy MD for France at WBITD.
