Bruno and the Banana Bunch Launches on CBC in Canada

TORONTO, March 9: Cuppa Coffee’s new 26×11-minute preschool
series Bruno and the Banana Bunch will
launch on Monday, April 2, on CBC in Canada.

Bruno and the Banana Bunch follows the company’s successful interstitial series Bruno, which is currently airing worldwide in over 80
countries. The new series will have a strong focus on early math and numeracy
skills. The Los Angeles based-The Sharpe Company has already picked up on
merchandising and licensing potential for the series, with several deals
already being tabled. Cuppa Coffee’s writing team, headed by Brendan Russell,
has already begun working on another season of Bruno and the Banana
Bunch
.

"CBC creative head of children’s programming Kim Wilson
has championed the show from the beginning,” noted Adam Shaheen, the president
of Cuppa Coffee and Bruno originator.
“We’ll be promoting the show on air, online and at CBC Kids tour stops.”
