L.A. Screenings: Warner Bros. International Television Distribution

LOS ANGELES: Warner Bros. International Television Distribution (WBITD) is screening a slew of new shows that were picked up by U.S. networks for 2015-16, including Supergirl.

Coming to CBS on Mondays at 8 p.m. midseason, Supergirl is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. WBITD will also be screening the CBS midseason buddy-cop drama Rush Hour, based on the feature film of the same name.

International buyers can also screen from WBITD the FOX midseason show Lucifer, based upon the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for DC Entertainment's Vertigo imprint, about the story of the original fallen angel. DC's Legends of Tomorrow, also part of the WBITD slate, features the time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter, who is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat—one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. That show has been scheduled by The CW midseason. Another CW midseason show that is part of the screening is Containment, which begins when a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta and a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure.

Blindspot, set for Mondays on NBC, is part of the studio's screening roster. In it, a vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos, is discovered naked in Times Square with no memory of who she is or how she got there.
