L.A. Screenings: New from NBCUniversal International Television Distribution

LOS ANGELES: International buyers attending the L.A. Screenings will have the opportunity to screen the Heroes sequel Heroes Reborn from NBCUniversal International Television Distribution.

From original creator Tim Kring, Heroes Reborn will see a fresh crop of inspiring heroes who take on the ultimate struggle between those with extraordinary abilities and those with nefarious motives to hunt and harness their powers. The show is scheduled for NBC on Thursday nights this fall. NBCU will also be screening Chicago Med, the newest installment of the Chicago franchise from Dick Wolf, and Game of Silence, about a successful Atlanta attorney whose long-lost childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years. Game of Silence, set for NBC's midseason lineup, is adapted from a Turkish series.

As for comedy, Coach features Craig T. Nelson reprising the iconic role that earned him an Emmy in this follow-up to the beloved series that ran for nine seasons. From executive producer Sean Hayes comes Crowded, a family comedy that proves that life is crazy with a full house, especially the second time around.

NBCU will also be screening for buyers Heartbreaker, part of NBC's Tuesday schedule for the fall, a character-driven medical drama that follows Dr. Alex Panttiere, an outspoken world-renowned heart-transplant surgeon and one of the few women in her field. Eva Longoria stars in the new NBC midseason comedy Hot & Bothered, about Ana Sofia, a sizzling TV superstar and her lively family of cast and crew all competing to steal the spotlight. Jennifer Lopez leads the cast in Shades of Blue, also on NBC's midseason roster. Other NBC midseason series that NBCU will be screening for buyers are Superstore, a workplace comedy, and You, Me and the End of the World, in which news that a comet is on an unavoidable collision course with Earth sets in motion the most hilariously unexpected chain of events imaginable.
