KidsCo Aligns with Roald Dahl Museum for Original Content

LONDON: KidsCo has teamed up with the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre to produce original programming that celebrates the works of Roald Dahl and the Centre’s creative and interactive activities for children.

A range of short-form programs are set to air across KidsCo in Asia starting tomorrow, following a launch in Europe. The minute-long segments emphasize the contribution of Roald Dahl to kids’ storytelling, with stories like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda and The BFG. The clips also feature children enjoying the educational and imaginative activities at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre.

Eileen McCarthy, the program director at KidsCo, said: “KidsCo is continuously seeking appropriate collaborations with organizations that share a passion for delivering fun and engaging entertainment to children. Roald Dahl’s works are recognized around the world and his ability to engage children in his wonderful adventures not only contributes to their enjoyment of storytelling but enhances their ability to read and learn. We are thrilled to be linked to The Roald Dahl Museum through this project—it is an inspiring organization that complements our vision closely."

She continued: “KidsCo is committed to producing content that will reward and stimulate kids whilst they have fun. Having commissioned original series Boo & Me, Boo’s Sanctuary and Jass Time!, the opportunity to create on-air content that celebrates an icon like Roald Dahl and make stars of U.K. kids is very appealing.”

Isabelle Reynolds of The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre added: “Partnering with KidsCo was a natural choice for us as it shares our commitment to children and families. KidsCo’s support in raising awareness about the Museum is very welcome and we look forward to welcoming all of KidsCo’s viewers, young and old."
