President, Nerd Corps Entertainment

What are some of your top properties for MIPTV?
We are now in production on the second season of our comedy series League of Super Evil, which will bring the number up to 39 half hours (78 x 11 minute segments), and we continue to support the rollout of that series worldwide with new sales coming in. We also have 52 episodes of Storm Hawks with availability left in a few territories. In addition, we are presenting some of our projects in development, including the comedy Endangered Species (52×11 minute episodes), and the action/comedy series Subterrainea (52 x half hours).

Why will these programs appeal to buyers?
These series deliver great comedy and action for kids 6 to 11, and it’s all done in a very character driven way. Broadcasters are looking for shows that deliver for this age group, and Nerd Corps has consistently delivered proven performers in the past, with a combination of high quality animation and strong writing.

What are your goals and expectations for MIPTV?
This year we’re looking to keep the momentum going on our finished productions, and move our new projects forward, getting them through the development phase and into production. We are also always on the lookout for potential new properties to get involved in, whether it’s on a co-production basis, straight up distribution deals or acquiring a great idea for development. We are also continuing to build our interactive team, and are looking to create properties that can cross over into social media and create great web extensions.
